Well after the trauma of my cherished Boden coat looked terrible on me I'd forgotten all about coats for a while...except of course to check online that I got the money refunded from them for returning the coat! So imagine my surprise to be poking around the cake section in Tescos yesterday and my gaze meandered over to the clothing section. There was a red coat similar to the one I'd sent back to Boden, (except this of course didn't have the beautiful lining and soft as down cord outer...it was sort of woolly/poly.) After the girls had chosen their organic banana pudding I wandered over to try on the coat. "uuurrgghh Mary Poppins again!" they chorused
This time however, I wasn't listening. It was a great fit, not as flippy at the hip, so not at tomato inducing to the eye.
I decided to bite the bullet and buy it whilst it was there, particularly as it was 3 times cheaper than the Boden one! But even better than that I went to pay and there is currently £10 off coats (s it's still too warm for winter outers!) So I got my winter warmer for £30. Oh yes, I am happy!

I saw the red coat yesterday in Tescos and immediately thought of you! Well done on finding a new one!
I need a piccie. I never get coats right. I'm always too warm (like at this time of year) or too cold or it's too casual for wearing to work (yes us council workers do like to look smart) or too smart for mummy days. I'm fed up with the eternal search for a coat each year.
I might have to pop off to Tescos. But when??? When indeed, I have Saturday off work and off parenting but have made plans, Sunday is gardening and parenting, maybe I could squeeze in Tescos then.
